So I have been receiving a few questions that are asking me,
'How are you getting that blur effect in all your pictures?"
Well firstly, it is not a blur effect in photoshop. It is actually not a blur effect at all. It is my aperture range within the lens that I use. I shoot with a lens with a aperture (f-stop) of 1.4 (f/ 1.4). The aperture is a very significant element within photography. Your aperture can be decrease or increased. When you increase your aperture you will get a more sharper and wider image. Everything will be in focus. If you decrease your aperture to a smaller number, less will be in focus and your image will have a "blur" and less sharper elements.
When you are buying your next lens, try to look at the box and look for F1.4 or F 2.8.
Another lens I shoot with is a tilt shift lens. These lenses will blur anything in the direction you are tilting it in. For example: if you tilt the lenses right, the right side will only blur. I use a tilt shift lens called Lensb
